Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jon Paul Fish (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jozef Rakic (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). This should be a great matchup!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 13 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jon Paul Fish!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 5 - 2, fighting out of Amsterdam, Jozef Rakic!
The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Chris Downing and Cecil Peabody.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fish lands a head kick!
Fish misses with a jab, cross combination.
Rakic flicks out a counter leg kick but Fish steps away.
Rakic takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.

Rakic lands a jab followed by a vicious hook that sends Fish sprawling to the canvas. Rakic follows him down, looking for the kill. Can Fish hang on?


It looks like Jon Paul Fish has been cut.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Rakic is trying to get back to his feet now but his leg is trapped.

Fish is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.

Rakic fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Fish manages to avoid it.
Fish swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.
Fish throws a jab but it's blocked by Rakic.

Rakic rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Fish moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Fish throws a quick counter kick to the body but Rakic avoids it.
Fish lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt.

Crunch! Rakic slams his shin into Fish's torso.
Fish keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Rakic.
Rakic on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Rakic uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Fish.

That's time! Fish's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

Good leg kick by Rakic there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.

Fish walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Rakic checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.

and Rakic connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.

Fish takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
Fish ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Jon Paul Fish seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

It appears Fish was looking to counter with a kick there.

Rakic thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Fish if he has to take too many more of those.
Fish connects with a leg kick. Rakic looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Rakic lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Fish circles away quickly and effectively.

and Rakic counters with a leg kick then a big left hand that sends Fish down! Rakic is looking to finish but Fish is intelligently defending himself.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Fish throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Rakic's waist but Rakic gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Fish off to one side.

As Fish backs off Rakic throws a huge counter combo but Fish manages to avoid it all.

and Rakic lands a stunning uppercut that sends Fish to the mat!

Rakic tries to stand but can't do so whilst Fish controls his leg.
Oh Fish is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!

Fish takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

and Rakic counters with a nice uppercut.

Fish misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Rakic.
Rakic goes for a small jab and connects. Now Rakic goes in closer pressing the issue. Left hook, right straight! Fish stumbles back but Rakic runs in with a huge uppercut knocking Fish to the ground! What a finish! You have to wonder if Fish will ever be the same after a knockout like that.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:57 of round 3, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Jozef Rakic!
Jozef Rakic seemed lost for words in his post fight interview but he remembered to thank his fans and directed everyone to his website.
Jon Paul Fish was interviewed post fight and said 'Clearly, I've got some things to work on. Thanks to everyone who's supported me thus far.'.
