PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Jacek Moczymorda (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mitsurin Mizu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Moczymorda comes to the cage accompanied by Django Unchained OST - Ain't no grave (Johnny Cash). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mizu looks to throw the jab but Moczymorda is out of range.
Mizu just misses with a punch to the body.
Mizu loads up on a big right hand but Moczymorda slips the punch.
Moczymorda attempts a counter takedown but Mizu avoids it well and moves away.

Nice combo by Mizu! Oh, that's hurt him - Moczymorda falls to the canvas and Mizu follows him into side control.

It looks like Jacek Moczymorda has been cut.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Moczymorda manages to get one leg in to regain half guard.
It looks like Mizu is going to stand back up.

Moczymorda actively working from the bottom here.
Moczymorda wants to control but Mizu is keeping busy and won't allow it.
Mizu wants to get back to his feet.
Moczymorda wants to get back to full guard.

Moczymorda has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Mizu is working away from the top position though.
Mizu really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Moczymorda. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Mizu tries to stand and escape but Moczymorda is controlling the position.
Mizu prevents Moczymorda from improving his position.
Mizu is keen to just control but Moczymorda is a slippery customer.

Moczymorda had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Mizu defends it easily.

Moczymorda is working actively from the bottom, looking for submissions. He's escaped his hips to the side and he's going for an armbar! Mizu has his hands clasped together but Moczymorda extends and breaks Mizu's desperate grasp, forcing a tap out due to armbar! Nice BJJ displayed there by Moczymorda.

In his post fight interview, Jacek Moczymorda started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
