Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Craig Mason (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jake Tyler (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Tyler has chosen Yep as his entrance music. Both fighter's entrance songs getting the crowd jumping here.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, for the welterweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 36 - 20 - 0, fighting out of London, Craig Mason!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 40 - 17 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Jake Tyler!
The judges for this bout are George Francis, Chris Downing and Frank Dennis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tyler tries to clinch up but Mason circles away and keeps his distance.
Mason misses with an uppercut

and Tyler counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Tyler.
Mason not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Mason avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Tyler won't allow Mason to sweep him here.
Tyler stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Mason swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Mason is pulling down on Tyler's head to control his posture.
Mason is looking to stand up but Tyler isn't so interested in that idea.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Tyler drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Mason defends it well.
Mason looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.

Mason on the wrong end of a nice jab.
Mason lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Nice takedown defense from Mason. No joy for Tyler on that attempt.

Tyler escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Mason gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Tyler has his feet on Mason's thighs here. He's pushed Mason off and worked for a very quick armbar from the bottom! He's flipped onto his stomach and he's cranking hard on the arm! Mason screams in pain and taps out! This one is all over!

Jake Tyler made sure to give a little speech post fight, saying 'Thanks everyone, Jake Ryan is a great fighter, tough fight much respect. This rematch meant everything to me, I trained so hard for this and was so motivated. We can do a 3rd fight, and a 4th and a 5th fight me and Jake Ryan, because he brings it every night.'.
