Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
1 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Del Rose!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
0 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Tony Stark!
The judges for this bout are Ben Watson, Damien Edna and Bruno Hogan.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rose closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Stark did well to prevent Rose getting side control.
Stark wants to get back to his feet.
Stark slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work.
Stark wants to stand but Rose is controlling the position.
Rose has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
Stark looking to hit a scissor sweep but Rose is one step ahead there.
Rose is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
Rose's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

Rose darts in looking for a takedown but Stark gets double underhooks and turns Rose into the cage.

You can see the frustration on Rose's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.

Rose could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

Stark has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.
Stark fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Rose, pushing him back against the cage.
Rose misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Stark.
Stark is trying to trip Rose. He has hold of a leg but Rose is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Stark persists though and gets the takedown into guard.
Stark decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Rose, up you get!

Stark shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Rose's guard.
Rose controls Stark momentarily but Stark frees himself.
Rose pulls Stark in close to prevent any damage.
Rose is trying to control the position but Stark postures up.
Rose has his hands on Stark's head, controlling the position.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Rose kicks Stark off and gets to his feet.

Stark gets control of Rose's arms and successfully pulls guard. Stark will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.
Rose stands up and waves to Stark to follow him.
Rose throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Stark sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Stark wants to counter with a clinch but Rose pushes him away.
Stark shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Stark showed some decent athleticism there.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Rose is trying to maintain the position but Stark is very close to passing his half guard.
Stark wants to stand up but Rose has a hold of him and won't allow it.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.

As Rose backs off Stark throws a huge counter combo but Rose manages to avoid it all.

Stark has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Rose is proving hard to escape from.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.

We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.

Rose jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Stark walks away with a smile on his face. Rose gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Rose gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Stark to score an easy takedown into full guard.
Rose has a closed guard, preventing Stark from standing up.

Rose gets caught flat footed, as Stark shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Rose bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Stark's guard.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!

Rose shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Stark as he jumps to the side.

Stark has Rose pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Stark pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Rose tumbling to the mat - Stark dives into Rose's guard.

Stark stands up and we're back to a striking position.
Rose darts in looking for a takedown but Stark gets double underhooks and turns Rose into the cage.
Stark wants to counter the offense by Rose and move into the clinch position.

Tony Stark comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Stark has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
