And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Saam Ante, Paulsen Ambrosius and Albert Achterberg.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Good shot there by Jasper.
Pedan lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.

Pedan rushes Jasper and presses him up against the ropes.
Pedan is defending well against a takedown attempt.

Pedan escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Pedan takes a kick to the side of the head.
Pedan lands a right hook to the body.
Pedan connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Pedan tries a head kick but it misses.
Pedan misses with a looping left.

Jasper gets in close and instigates a clinch.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Pedan breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Pedan moves into the clinch.
Jasper drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Pedan gets the underhooks and prevents it.
I was talking to Jasper's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight.

Pedan pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Pedan misses with a head kick.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Jasper chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Pedan can pounce on him.
Pedan swats away the attempt to clinch by Jasper.
Jasper shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Pedan as he avoids it easily.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jan Jasper. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Pedan keeping at a good range here, avoiding a leg kick.

Pedan throws a good cross that connects.

Jasper is rocked!
Pedan throws a quick head kick that knocks Jasper silly! This fight is all over! What a finish! Pedan is up on the ropes, taking in the applause from the crowd.
