Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.

The judges for this bout are Edson Gomes, Seu Braga and Leandro Rodrigues.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dos Santos tests Mackenzie's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Mackenzie misses with a takedown attempt
and Dos Santos counters with a series of strikes. Mackenzie will be more careful next time no doubt.
Dos Santos throws a shot from downtown. Mackenzie moves away and avoids it.
Despite the aggression on Mackenzie's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter.

Mackenzie bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Mackenzie cracks Dos Santos with a big elbow.
Mackenzie lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Dos Santos down.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Mackenzie is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Dos Santos can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.

Mackenzie has control of Dos Santos's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Dos Santos regains control of the situation pretty easily.

It looks like Cain Dos Santos has been cut.

Mackenzie get's back to his feet.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Mackenzie is defended easily by Dos Santos.
Dos Santos will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Mackenzie fails to land the takedown.
Cain Dos Santos has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Channing Mackenzie.

Dos Santos closes the distance and lands a brutal uppercut that knocks Mackenzie out! We're looking at the replay now - he was out before he hit the floor!
