Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jay Jay Mutombo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Neo Kable (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kable scores with a nice body kick.
Mutombo on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Kable is looking to chop away at Mutombo's legs.
Mutombo avoids the head kick by Kable.
Mutombo throws a nice looking combination but Kable bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Kable looks like he wants to counter punch here.
Kable swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Mutombo throws a quick counter kick to the body but Kable avoids it.

Kable tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Mutombo was well out of range. Poor timing from Kable.

The crowd cheers as Kable lands an impressive looking overhand right. Mutombo doesn't seem phased though.

Mutombo swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.
Kable throws out a loose jab but Mutombo uses good head movement to avoid it.
An attempted straight right counter from Mutombo misses the target.

Kable throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Kable misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
A little feinted left hand from Mutombo on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.

Mutombo lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Mutombo takes a swing at Kable's ribcage but misses.
Kable slips a jab from Mutombo.
The fighters circling - Kable throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Mutombo jabs Kable to the body, keeping him at a distance.

Kable shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
Kable misses with an uppercut. Mutombo saw that one coming.
A looping hook to the body misses from Mutombo. Kable does a little dance to reset his feet.
It seemed like Kable was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.

Kable throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean.
Mutombo cracks Kable with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Mutombo has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Kable to stand back up!
It looks like Neo Kable has been cut.
Kable throws a mid kick that lands with a slap.
Mutombo throws a big shot that misses.
Kable takes a swing at Mutombo's ribcage but misses.
Mutombo is looking to counter with a body kick.
Kable throws a sloppy head kick
and Mutombo counters with a stiff right hand.
Kable throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Mutombo lifts his leg as if looking to counter with a high kick.
Kable uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Mutombo.
Mutombo slips a straight right by Kable.
Mutombo appears to be looking for a counter punch to the body.
Kable jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Kable thuds his right hand into Mutombo's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.

Kable lands a head kick!
Mutombo fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.
Mutombo walks into a jab.
Kable throws a shot from downtown. Mutombo moves away and avoids it.
Mutombo takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Mutombo looks to land a left hand but Kable moved out of range nicely.
Kable takes a shot right to the bread basket.
Mutombo jabs Kable right on the nose. Kable blinks but takes it well.
Kable tries to bum rush Mutombo with a series of wild strikes but Mutombo uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Kable takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?
Kable looks winded!
Kable stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Mutombo.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Kable fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Mutombo has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Mutombo lands with a big right hook that stumbles Kable - he's out on his feet here! Mutombo follows up with another monster hook that separates Kable from consciousness! Kable falls, almost in slow motion to the canvas! Mutombo stands and admires his work as the crowd go wild.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:56 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Jay Jay Mutombo!
