PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Wei Pei (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Constantine Titanus (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Titanus is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by To Glory. I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 28 - 7 - 1, fighting out of Sydney, Constantine Titanus!
The judges for this bout are William Gold, Phil Schofield and James Glass.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Titanus looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
Titanus misses with a hook. Pei ducked under it nicely.
A head kick misses from Titanus.
Pei throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Pei connects with a nice looking jab.

It looks like Constantine Titanus has been cut.
Pei throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Pei throws a push kick but Titanus slaps the foot to one side.
Pei throws out a loose jab but Titanus uses good head movement to avoid it.
Pei takes a swing at Titanus's ribcage but misses.
Pei lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Pei takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Titanus slips under a jab.
Titanus takes a body kick right on the floating rib. Ouchie.
Pei has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Titanus.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Titanus looks to throw a body kick
and Pei counters with a lovely shot to the body.
Pei comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Pei takes a swing at Titanus's ribcage but misses.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Pei walks into a left hand.
Pei does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Titanus checks a low kick from Pei.
Titanus throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Titanus ducks right into an uppercut from Pei.
Pei lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Titanus thuds a left hand into Pei's body.
Pei misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Titanus.
Titanus punishes Pei's body with a nice straight punch.
Pei ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Titanus moves away.
Nice body kick there by Titanus.
Pei is looking to wear down Titanus with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment.
Pei fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Titanus manages to avoid it.
Titanus wants to clinch up but Pei keeps it at a distance.
Nice cross by Titanus.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Titanus moves out of range as Pei strikes.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Pei bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick.

Oooooh!!! Pei has knocked Titanus down with a huge combo! Pei steps away and waves a wobbly Titanus back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!
Pei seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.
Pei misses with a body kick.
Pei misses with a right hand

and Titanus counters by moving into the clinch.
Pei blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
Pei avoiding damage as Titanus throws knees to the body.
A frustrated look appears on Titanus's face as he tries to break the clinch.

Pei drops Titanus onto one knee with a big uppercut from the clinch! Titanus is propped up by the cage and works his way back to his feet!

Titanus is rocked!

That has opened up Constantine Titanus's cut even more.
Titanus using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Pei has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.
Titanus is still on wobbly legs! Can Pei finish him?
Pei dips a shoulder and cracks Titanus with a mighty uppercut! Titanus falls back against the cage and Pei unloads with a barrage of strikes! Titanus is completely out with his eyes open, only supported by the cage! Save him ref! Eventually the ref decides to do his job and jumps in - Pei screams abuse at the incompetent official before going over to celebrate with his corner. Brutal stuff!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:45 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Wei Pei!
A very excited looking Wei Pei made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.
