The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Smith throws a shot from downtown. Prosper moves away and avoids it.

and Prosper counters with a left and a right that stings Smith.
Prosper shoots in and drives through. Smith sprawls well.
Prosper uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Smith.

Prosper looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.

Prosper is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Prosper steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Smith. That one must have hurt.
Eloi Prosper seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Prosper shoots in looking for a takedown but Smith manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Prosper's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
