The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McDonald thumps Jackson with a low kick.
Jackson tries a head kick but it misses.

McDonald tries to counter by clinching up but Jackson breaks away and moves out of range.
Jackson throws a low kick, looking for McDonald's leg but McDonald calmly moves out of range.
A looping hook to the body misses from Jackson. McDonald does a little dance to reset his feet.
McDonald feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Jackson's calf.

McDonald closes the distance and pushes Jackson back into the cage.
Jackson takes a knee right on the jaw!
McDonald lands with a light punch inside.
Jackson fails to pull the fight into his guard.
McDonald has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
