The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jordan thows a leg kick but Payne checks it

and Payne counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Payne.
Jordan wants to stand up but Payne is controlling him.

Jordan is scooting his butt against the cage and has managed to get back to his feet. Payne presses him back against the cage, presumably looking to take the fight back to the mat.
Jordan lands a right hand.
Payne changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Jordan fights it off and pushes away nicely.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Payne lands with a jab that stuns his opponent. Jordan is looking to close the distance but Payne sees it coming and throws a beautiful knee! Jordan crumbles to the mat and that's all she wrote! Let's hope Jordan is OK because that was naaaaaasty!
