Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Patrick Tiernan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Castiel Angel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Tiernan comes to the cage accompanied by DESERT STORM by Tartanic. Angel has chosen Carry on my wayward son as his entrance music. Castiel Angel has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Patrick Tiernan's chin.

16 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Castiel Angel!
The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Wesley Smith and Tiny Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Angel gets a takedown into half guard.
Angel lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Tiernan has hold of Angel's hands but Angel slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.
Angel missing with the ground and pound from half guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Angel is trying to control. Tiernan wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.

Angel wants to work for an arm triangle but Tiernan is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Angel wants to free his trapped foot but Tiernan is holding on for dear life with his legs.

Angel is keen to just control but Tiernan is a slippery customer.

Angel might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Tiernan haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

Patrick Tiernan is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Tiernan throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Angel.
And Angel tries to counter it with a takedown but Tiernan pushes his down on his head and steps out.
Tiernan moves out of range of the leg kick from Angel.
Tiernan looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Tiernan chopping away at his opponent's legs.
Angel throws a big overhand right that connects, sending Tiernan tumbling to the canvas!
Tiernan is rocked!
It looks like Patrick Tiernan has been cut.
Angel trying to control but Tiernan is working from the bottom.
Oh Tiernan is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Angel throwing strikes but missing.
Angel passes Tiernan's left leg - he's now in half guard.
Tiernan seems to have got his legs back now.
Nice strikes from Angel there.

Angel is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen.
Angel works his way into side control.
Angel tries to move into full mount but can't pass Tiernan's legs.
Tiernan can't do much from the bottom here.
Angel throwing ground and pound but whilst doing so, he forgets to control position and Tiernan works his way back to half guard. Good composure under pressure.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Angel tries to pass the half guard into mount. Tiernan knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.
Angel thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Tiernan's head.
Tiernan regains full guard, whilst avoiding punches from Angel.
Angel landing some decent shots from guard.
My spies in Condor Training inform me that Angel has been getting involved in the gym's BJJ sparring sessions. Let's see whether that pays dividends!
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Angel loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
Angel throws a strike but Tiernan rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Castiel Angel dominated that round.
The cut man is working on Patrick Tiernan's cut.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Angel lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
The fighters circle, before Angel throws a beautiful high kick that crashes into Tiernan's neck, sending him stumbling to the floor! Angel lands more strikes and forces a referee stoppage! That one ended in an instant!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:09 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Kick & Punches). Castiel Angel!
A relieved looking Castiel Angel thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
