The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Borges dives in and grabs Silva's left leg, looking for a takedown. Silva pushes down on Borges's head and hops out.

Silva scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Borges is working to avoid the ground and pound but Silva connects with a decent elbow.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Silva cracks Borges with a big right hand but Borges just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.

Borges is rocked!

Silva decides to stand up, so the ref orders Borges to his feet.
Borges is still on wobbly legs! Can Silva finish him?
Borges closes the distance and clinches up with Silva, looking for a takedown. Borges pushes Silva against the cage but Silva circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Silva connects with a picture perfect right hand that knocks Borges out cold! This one is over in a flash!
