Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 34 - 17 - 1, fighting out of St Petersburg, Ezra Ray!
The judges for this bout are Aleksei Zolotukhin, Konstantin Menshow and Illya Tyunina.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ray fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
James looks to land a combination but Ray avoids it well.
Ray lands a jab to the head.
Ray rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but James moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
James definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
James lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.
James dodges the punch combination from Ray.
James misses with a telegraphed body shot
and James takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Ray scores with a jab. James acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
James misses with a combination
and Ray counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
James misses with an uppercut.
Ray swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.
Ray connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
James misses with a jab to the body
and Ray counters with a stiff right hand.

and James takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.

Ray connects with a nice looking jab.
James throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
James showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Ray.
James misses with a combination
and Ray counters with a low kick, right behind James 's knee.
James misses the shot to the body.
Ray darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
Ray lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
James scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
James throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Ray counters with a nice uppercut.
Ray has been working his punching technique in the buildup to the fight and it appears to be paying off.
James throws a poor cross that misses
and Ray counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Jesse James seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
James throws a right and a left that both miss.

Ray drops his hands momentarily and James takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Ray bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of James's head.
Ray throws a quick inside leg kick.
Ray bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
James ducks right into an uppercut from Ray.
Ray jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.
James throws a combination that misses
and Ray counters with a nice uppercut.
James throws a right and a left that both miss.
Ray has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight.
James misses with a wild combination.
Ray darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
Ray scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Ray lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.


James is rocked!
Ray throws a monster overhand right that drops James! Ray follows up with more strikes from mount and the fight is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:13 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Ezra Ray!
Ezra Ray decided to thank the fans in attendance for making a great atmosphere. It seemed to go down pretty well.
