Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Yushin Yamamoto (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chong Zhu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Yamamoto comes to the cage accompanied by Dr. Dre and Snoop Dogg - On The Boulevard. Zhu has chosen Meet Gazoo as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. The fight MMA fans around the world have waited their entire lives for!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 1, fighting out of Montreal, Yushin Yamamoto!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 15 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Chong Zhu!
The judges for this bout are Robert Douchet, Yves DeLean and Alec Ball.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Yamamoto closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Zhu did well to prevent Yamamoto getting side control.
Zhu wants to improve his position but Yamamoto is controlling well.
The referee calls for the fighters to work.
Zhu has found himself in a tricky position here. He's been working his transitions in training so let's see if he can work his way out of it.

Yamamoto is working for a submission of some sort.
Zhu is doing well to control the position and prevent Yamamoto from advancing to side control.
Yamamoto uses his free foot to push down on Zhu's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Zhu.
Yamamoto lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Yamamoto is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Zhu can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
Zhu tries to hold on but Yamamoto pushes him away.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Yamamoto has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Yamamoto unloads with some vicious shots from mount and Zhu wants out - he looks towards the referee who steps in to save him! Yamamoto celebrates on the cage and the crowd goes wild!
