Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Jason Barrett!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Jordan Jack!
The judges for this bout are Santiago Holmes, Sandra Marshall and Daniel Franklin.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jack swings away with a body shot that misses
and Barrett cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Barrett slips under a jab.
Jack throws a lazy uppercut
and Barrett counters with a good low kick that Jack was not able to check.
Jack swings widly with a right hand
and Barrett counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.


That has opened up Jordan Jack's cut even more.
Jack misses with a looping left.

Jack scores with a takedown into Barrett's guard.
Jack in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
Jack wants to control from the top but Barrett keeps moving.

Barrett wants to sweep here but Jack controlling him for the moment.

Barrett definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Barrett knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Jack on the ground.
Barrett is trying to control the position but Jack postures up.

Barrett wants to sweep here but Jack controlling him for the moment.

Jack lands a couple of decent looking shots.

Jack throws a big elbow that misses.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.
Jack stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Jack has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.

and Barrett counters with an outside leg kick.

and Barrett counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Jack misses with a lunging right hand
and Barrett counters with a straight punch to the midsection.

Jack shoots for a double leg takedown but Barrett sprawls well. He's pushed Jack's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Barrett is looking to counter with a shot to the body.

enabling Barrett to counter with a crisp jab.
Barrett uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Jack.
Barrett lands a really nice looking cross but Jack seems unphased.


The cut above Jordan Jack's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
Barrett is looking to clinch but Jack is avoiding it.
Barrett cracks Jack with an open hand slap.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Jordan Jack seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Barrett uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Jack.
It looked like Barrett wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.
Jack shoots for a takedown but Barrett saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Jason Barrett is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Jack misses with an uppercut
and Barrett counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.

Barrett darts in and clinches Jack up against the cage.

Barrett lands a right hand that snaps the head of Jack backwards.


Jordan Jack's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.
A short body shot lands from Barrett as the two fighters clinch.

A nice right hand lands inside from Barrett.
Barrett works for underhooks and lands a body shot in the process.
Barrett lands with a short punch from the clinch.
Jack working hard to break the clinch.
Barrett is clearly stalling here... Pick up the pace son.
Barrett lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Jack backwards.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Jordan Jack's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:15 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Cut). Jason Barrett!
During a confident post fight interview, Jason Barrett thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.
