The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Louie looks to score with a jab to the body but Offley is just out of range.

Offley changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt.

Offley drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Louie defends it well.

Offley shoots in looking for a takedown but Louie manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Offley's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Offley has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Offley shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Louie pinned against the cage. Louie gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Louie lands with a kick to the ribs.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Louie connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Offley's hands.

It looks like Clinton Offley has been cut.
Louie lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.

Louie takes a swing at Offley's ribcage but misses.
And Offley tries to counter it with a takedown but Louie pushes his down on his head and steps out.

Louie lands a big right hand that sends Offley crashing to the mat! Louie stays standing though and waves Offley back to his feet!

and Offley counters with a nice double leg into half guard.

Offley wants to lay and pray for a moment but Louie keeps working.
