Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Gregory Folan, William Peck and Steve Smith.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Michaels manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Cash on his heels. He'll look to pass Cash's guard now, I'm sure.
Michaels controls from within his opponent's guard.

Michaels drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Cash manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Michaels has Cash in his guard.

Michaels keeping moving, preventing Cash from controlling successfully.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Michaels seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Cash would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
Cash wants to stand and escape but instead Michaels has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.

Michaels works a leg free and moves into half guard.
Michaels keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action.
Michaels prevents Cash from standing back up.
Cash is looking to get back to full guard here but Michaels has managed to pass to side control instead.
Cash tries to buck Michaels off but Michaels is having none of it.

Michaels wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Cash, who protects the arm well.

Cash is trying to get back to his feet.

Cash scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.


It looks like Jordan Michaels has been cut.

Some wild striking there from Cash.
Cash throws a nice looking combination but Michaels bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Michaels on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Michaels goes for a double leg but Cash avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Cash continues to drive forward.

That's four minutes gone in the round.

Michaels clinches.
Cash wants to get back to striking at distance but Michaels won't allow it.
Cash tries to break the clinch but Michaels is controlling the position.
Cash prevents a takedown attempt there.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Michaels turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Michaels manages to end up in side control.
Cash gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard.
Cash is trying to control but can't.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

Michaels is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Cash defends it well.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!


Cash connects with a left and a right that sees a clearly hurt Michaels covering up! Cash comes in with a big uppercut and Michaels goes doooown! He's slumped up against the cage, eyes staring blankly into space.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:05 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Bill Cash!
