The judges for this bout are Paulsen Ambrosius, Wagner Zegers and Albert Achterberg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pelmeshek shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Pelmeshek showed some decent athleticism there.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Pelmeshek keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action.
Pelmeshek stands up out of the half guard.

Pelmeshek looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Moreno with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Moreno tries to roll over but Pelmeshek keeps him under control.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Pelmeshek is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.
Moreno is trying hard to land a takedown here. Pelmeshek sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Pelmeshek drives through with a takedown into guard.
Pelmeshek working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Moreno's head.
Moreno wants to control but instead he gets his guard passed and Pelmeshek is now in half guard.

Still in half guard, Pelmeshek seems content to control.
Pelmeshek is pressing down on Moreno's thigh, looking to free his foot. Moreno is holding on for now.

Pelmeshek is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Moreno!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Moreno is desperately trying to improve his position but Pelmeshek has a good base and remains in mount.
Moreno could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Moreno is breathing heavily.

Pelmeshek landing strikes from the mount and Moreno is in trouble!

Pelmeshek postures up and throws a couple of big shots that have Moreno in real trouble here! The ref calls for Moreno to improve his position which he doesn't do, so the referee has no choice but to end the fight due to the strikes!
