Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Black Coleman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mat Diaz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Black Coleman!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Mat Diaz!
The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Tiny Johnson and Stewart Dunkirk.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Diaz lands a jab to Coleman's midsection.
Diaz with a body punch. A glancing blow.

Coleman shoots in and gets a takedown into Diaz's guard.
Coleman throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.
Coleman postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Coleman accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Diaz wants to get back to his feet but Coleman is in a dominant position and won't allow it.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Coleman happy to just control the position for now.
Diaz tries to control but end up mounted... ooooh, that's bad.
Diaz squirming around on the bottom, looking to escape.
Coleman lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.

Coleman controlling the position easily from mount.
Coleman postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Diaz looks a forlorn figure.

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Coleman cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

Coleman wants to control the pace but Diaz is squirming around nicely.

Diaz seems to have recovered his senses.
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Coleman lands a nice short elbow.

Coleman tries to move into range but Diaz moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.

A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Coleman.

Coleman is trying to advance to mount but he's lost his balance and Diaz reverses the position - he's now on top in Coleman's guard.

Coleman looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Diaz has picked Coleman up and slammed him! Coleman can't keep hold of the triangle and Diaz manages to pass to side control!

Diaz lands a decent elbow from side control.

Coleman is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Diaz can do to turn this around?

Diaz looking to punish the body of his opponent here but Coleman is avoiding damage well.

We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
Black Coleman overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

Diaz thows a huge punch but Coleman dodges it nicely.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Coleman is doing well to control the position and prevent Diaz from advancing to side control.
Diaz not landing any meaningful shots this time.
Coleman is looking for a sweep. Diaz is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Diaz stalling away here and it's allowed Coleman to slip out his trapped foot and regain full guard.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Coleman is on top in guard.

Coleman controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Coleman's corner. There ya go! There ya go!
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Coleman slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
Coleman has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close second round but Mat Diaz will probably get the nod - 10:9.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. This is the final round!


Coleman closes the distance and clinches up with Diaz, looking for a takedown. Coleman pushes Diaz against the cage but Diaz circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
A nice combination there by Diaz.

Coleman shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Diaz napping and manages to drive through into side control!
Diaz is trying to work for a sweep but Coleman has mounted him!

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Coleman pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.
Coleman is landing with some decent strikes but Diaz is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

A big strike lands for Coleman! That's really hurt Diaz and he's turned his back - Coleman keeps firing away and the ref dives in to stop the fight! Coleman jumps to his feet to celebrate the victory!
