The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Collins lands a head shot.

It looks like Barrett Johnson has been cut.
Johnson paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Johnson shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Collins defends it nicely.

Johnson lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Johnson moves away from the strike by Collins.
Johnson shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Collins but Collins pushes him off and we're back to square one.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Collins, as that shot connected.

Johnson with the counter takedown but Collins avoids it easily.

Johnson swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Nice straight punches there by Collins. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Collins.
Johnson shoots in looking for a takedown but Collins manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Johnson's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

Johnson rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Collins moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

That has opened up Barrett Johnson's cut even more.

Collins sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but Johnson is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.

Collins thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Johnson's head.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Collins wants to stand up but Johnson is controlling the position.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Johnson is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Collins scores with a couple of nice shots.

Barrett Johnson's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.

A less than humble Fred Collins misjudged his post fight interview somewhat and came across a little too arrogant whilst trying to hype up his own abilities.
