Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Winfred Cohen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Phuc Nuey (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Horrible takedown attempt by Cohen or perhaps it was just good defense by Nuey, which made it look bad.
Cohen looking to stall.
Cohen wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.

Nuey breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Nuey gets a double leg takedown into Cohen's guard.
Nuey wants to control from the top but Cohen keeps moving.

Nuey drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Cohen dives on top into guard.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Nuey pulls Cohen in close to his closed guard and prevents Cohen from doing any damage or advancing position.

Nuey throws some sloppy strikes off his back.
Nuey looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
Nuey is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.
Cohen shoots in looking for a takedown. Nuey tries to sprawl out of it but Cohen keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Nuey manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Nuey rushes Cohen and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.

Cohen throws a head punch that misses.
Nuey has Cohen pressed against the cage, preventing Cohen from circling away and getting back to striking at range.

Nuey throws a combination. Cohen tries to block but a couple of punches get through.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.

Nuey closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Cohen quickly recovers to half guard.

Phuc Nuey dominated that round.
That's time! Cohen's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

The fight moves into the clinch position.

Cohen jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Nuey walks away with a smile on his face. Cohen gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
A looping hook to the body misses from Cohen. Nuey does a little dance to reset his feet.

Phuc Nuey is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

Nuey gets a takedown into half guard.
Nuey is looking to take a break and control but Cohen is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Nuey is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen.

Nuey tries to pass the half guard into mount. Cohen knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Nuey is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Cohen sees it coming and defends easily.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.
Nuey circles away from the clinch attempt.

Nuey throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Cohen was covering up waiting for the punch and Nuey finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Nuey throws an elbow that misses. Cohen uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Nuey's guard. Nice move by Cohen!

Nuey has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
Cohen would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.

Nuey bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Cohen's guard.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.

Phuc Nuey showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Phuc Nuey comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Nuey has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
