Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Maki Pulu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Remmy Jin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Pulu comes to the cage accompanied by Alive. Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jin throws out a loose jab but Pulu uses good head movement to avoid it.
Pulu tries to score a power double leg takedown but Jin sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Pulu somewhat.
Jin now looks to counter with a shot at the body.
A big right from Pulu misses.
Pulu tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Jin swivels and escapes.
Jin bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.

It looks like Maki Pulu has been cut.
Pulu misses with an uppercut.
Pulu tries for a takedown but Jin sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Maki Pulu. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Pulu gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Jin counters with a stiff right hand.
Jin has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Jin throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Pulu doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Jin counters with a right hand to the body.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Pulu shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Jin sprawls well. Jin wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Pulu gets slowly back to his feet.
A countering left hand to the body from Jin misses.
Pulu doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Jin counters with a lovely shot to the body.
Pulu has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
Pulu is breathing heavily.

Pulu shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Jin pinned against the cage. Jin gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Pulu takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Pulu misses with a right hand

and Jin counters with a nice right hand that sends Pulu toppling to the canvas! Pulu scrambles and gets back to his feet - can Jin finish him?!

Pulu is rocked!

Maki Pulu's cut is getting worse.
Jin moves in close and cracks Pulu with a massive right hand! Pulu, frozen momentarily in time, tumbles to the canvas, already out cold! A brutal knockout by Jin!
