Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Cees Overeem (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Quintus Daedalus (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Overeem's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Drowning Pool - Bodies (Let The Bodies Hit The Floor) . Daedalus is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Spartacus Soundtrack. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
39 - 37 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Cees Overeem!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
29 - 15 - 1, fighting out of Amsterdam, Quintus Daedalus!
The judges for this bout are Alec Ball, Steve Smith and Elvis Blanc.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A decent looking cross lands there for Overeem.
It looks like Quintus Daedalus has been cut.
Overeem tries to clinch but Daedalus is having none of it.
Cees Overeem seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Overeem is looking to clinch but Daedalus is avoiding it.
Daedalus throws a lazy head kick
and Overeem connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Overeem clinches up with Daedalus and pushes him back against the cage.
Overeem gets underhooks to prevent Daedalus's takedown attempt.
Daedalus throws a hook to the body. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges.
Daedalus changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Overeem fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Daedalus shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Overeem defends it nicely.
Cees Overeem has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Quintus Daedalus.
Overeem drops Daedalus with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Daedalus looks back up at him and smiles so Overeem waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Overeem doesn't manage to clinch there - Daedalus circles away.
Daedalus throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Overeem was covering up waiting for the punch and Daedalus finishes the takedown easily into guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Overeem wants to stand up but Daedalus is controlling him.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Overeem keeping moving, preventing Daedalus from controlling successfully.
Daedalus works a leg free and moves into half guard.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Daedalus connects with a nice short shot to Overeem's temple.
Daedalus wants to take a breather but Overeem is having none of it.
Overeem tries to kick Daedalus off but Daedalus keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
Overeem is not content to let Daedalus control the position.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Daedalus is trying for a kimura here. Overeem looks like he's in a lot of pain... and he's tapping out! Daedalus wins by kimura!
