Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 18 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Owen Glyde!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Freddy Lee!
The judges for this bout are William Peck, Yves DeLean and Ian Loll.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Donk. Lee catches Glyde right on the button with a cross.


It looks like Owen Glyde has been cut.

Glyde has Lee up against the cage in a clinch.
Lee is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.
Glyde tries to land a knee to the head but Lee blocks with his arms.
Lee avoiding damage as Glyde throws knees to the body.
Glyde tries to work over Lee's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.
Glyde tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.
Glyde lands with a light punch inside.
Glyde lands a shot to the body.
Lee avoids a wild elbow strike from Glyde.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Glyde lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Lee backwards.


It looks like Freddy Lee has been cut.
Glyde pushes Lee back against the cage and unloads with a body punch.
Glyde lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.
A right hook to the body lands for Glyde.
Lee blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Glyde lands a right hand.
Lee takes a knee right on the jaw!
Lee can't get the takedown.
Lee avoids a wild elbow strike from Glyde.
Glyde lands an elbow inside that Lee shrugs off.
Glyde lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.

Glyde's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Lee changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Glyde looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Glyde is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Lee asserts his dominance and retains side control.
Lee throwing strikes but missing, from side control.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Lee throws a strike aimed at the side of Glyde's head but Glyde avoids it well.
Glyde is looking to reverse the position.

Lee looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.

Glyde is trying to escape and get back to his feet.

Lee is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Glyde knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

That's three minutes gone in the round.

Lee thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
Glyde is trying to improve his position.

Lee is trying to get an arm triangle but Glyde is defending well.
Glyde is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Lee tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
Glyde wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done!
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Glyde connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Lee momentarily.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Owen Glyde dominated that round.
Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.



Glyde sends Lee crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Glyde is motioning to the referee to let Lee up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!
Glyde throws a push kick but Lee slaps the foot to one side.
Crack! Glyde connects with the perfect overhand right and Lee falls face first to the canvas. Timbeeeeeeeer! Beautiful knockout for Glyde!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:11 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Owen Glyde!
Owen Glyde tried to hype himself up post fight but didn't word it too well and it ended up with him sounding like a bit of a tool.
