The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Regalado avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Regalado let fly with a counter punch to the body but it didn't land.
Regalado closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.

It looks like Refugio Regalado has been cut.

Blackburn throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Regalado stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

Blackburn has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
Regalado walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.

Refugio Regalado's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.
The crowd cheers as Blackburn lands an impressive looking overhand right. Regalado doesn't seem phased though.
