Eirikson kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is If I had a heart. Leif Eirikson could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Sidearm Bill's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Sidearm Bill!
The judges for this bout are Reed Andrews, Jonathan Paton and Bruno Lombardi.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bill looks to land a left hand but Eirikson moved out of range nicely.
Eirikson seem to be loading up, looking for a big counter.
Eirikson looks to land a combination. Bill sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.

It looks like Sidearm Bill has been cut.
Eirikson looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Eirikson leaves Bill with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Eirikson bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Eirikson throws a good cross that connects.
Bill wants to clinch but Eirikson slips to the side
and Eirikson connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Eirikson scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.

Bill is rocked!
Eirikson swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Bill with the counter takedown but Eirikson avoids it easily.
Bill is still on wobbly legs! Can Eirikson finish him?

Eirikson feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Bill sprawling to the canvas! Bill rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Eirikson finish him?!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Eirikson drops Bill with a beautiful combination! Bill stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Eirikson is looking for the KO!
Nice sprawl there from Eirikson as Bill shoots in.
Bill tries to bum rush Eirikson with a series of wild strikes but Eirikson uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Bill seems to have recovered his senses.

Eirikson sends Bill crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Eirikson is motioning to the referee to let Bill up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!
Eirikson moves out of range of the strikes.
Bill fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Eirikson avoids it really well and circles away.
Leif Eirikson has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Sidearm Bill.
Bill tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Eirikson paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Nice takedown defense from Eirikson. No joy for Bill on that attempt.
A lazy left from Eirikson finds it's target.

and Eirikson counters with a series of strikes that practically lifts Bill off his feet! He tumbles backwards, his head bouncing off the mat - Eirikson follows up with more strikes before the ref can step in but Bill was out before he hit the floor.
