Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Robert Boone (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Django Freeman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Freeman has chosen 100 Black Coffins as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Django Freeman!
The judges for this bout are George Francis, Alan Glass and Chris Downing.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Freeman shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Boone throws a shot to the body.
Boone swinging wildly here.
Boone stalks Freeman and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Freeman's face. Freeman staggers backwards, shaken.
Freeman throws a body punch but Boone moves out of range.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
A right-left combo lands from Boone.
Freeman shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Boone but Boone pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Freeman scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.
Boone is looking for a sweep. Freeman is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

It looks like Django Freeman has been cut.
Freeman shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Boone sprawls well. Boone wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Freeman gets slowly back to his feet.

My spies in BigMouth Cabrons inform me that Freeman has been getting involved in the gym's BJJ sparring sessions. Let's see whether that pays dividends!

Boone has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Freeman can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Freeman steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Boone.

It looked like Boone was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.
Freeman ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Boone moves away.
Freeman wants to clinch.
As Freeman looks to move away, Boone throws a big counter combo bu Freeman just gets out of the way.
Freeman takes a jab right on the kisser.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Boone lands with a straight right. Freeman didn't see that one coming.
Boone looks to land a left hand but Freeman moved out of range nicely.
Freeman with the counter takedown but Boone avoids it easily.
Freeman displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Boone throws out the jab.

That's time! Boone's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!

And Freeman tries to counter it with a takedown but Boone pushes his down on his head and steps out.
Boone will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Boone throws an overhand right that lands on Freeman's shoulder, as Freeman tries to avoid the shot.
And Freeman tries to counter it with a takedown but Boone pushes his down on his head and steps out.

Freeman closes the distance and clinches up with Boone, looking for a takedown. Freeman pushes Boone against the cage but Boone circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Boone uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.

Freeman tries to score a power double leg takedown but Boone sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Freeman somewhat.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Boone, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
