The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Shawn tries to land a body kick
and Barbosa makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick.
Shawn with a poor takedown
and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick.
Barbosa chopping away at his opponent's legs.
Shawn dives in and grabs Barbosa's left leg, looking for a takedown. Barbosa pushes down on Shawn's head and hops out.
Barbosa digs a good hook to Shawn's body.
Barbosa lands a two punch combo.
Shawn fails with an attempt to clinch.
Barbosa defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Shawn.
Alfredo Barbosa has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Rob Shawn.
Barbosa steps into range and unloads a brutal right left combo! Shawn is out on his feet! Barbosa sets himself and nearly takes Shawn's head off with a straight right, sending him crashing to the mat! Wow, that was nasty... but awesome! Wooo!
