Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Devin Jaqquard (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Addict Yo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Yo throws a low kick but it's checked well by Jaqquard.
Yo lands with a thumping leg kick.
Yo fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Jaqquard checks it well.
Jaqquard throws a right and a left that both miss.

Yo closes the distance and clinches.
Yo throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Jaqquards head.

Yo looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Yo lands a left hand that snaps the head of Jaqquard backwards.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Jaqquard turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Jaqquard manages to end up in side control.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Jaqquard remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.
The strikes coming from Jaqquard are missing the target in this wave of attacks.
Yo really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Jaqquard. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Yo seems a little lost for a moment, as Jaqquard dominates the positioning.

Jaqquard thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Yo can do anything to dispel that myth.

A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet.
Jaqquard creates a bit of distance and throws down some hard shots.

Jaqquard tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Jaqquard has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Yo takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.

Jaqquard has hold of Yo's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Yo tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Jaqquard cranks the arm and Yo screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Yo, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
