Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Chris Saunders, Josh West and Jeff Smith.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Wreaker closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Wreaker tries to pass the half guard into mount. Woodward knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.
Wreaker wants to control but Woodward is keeping him busy.

Wreaker is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Woodward sees it coming and defends easily.
Wreaker content to sit in half guard and control for a moment.
Wreaker works his foot free and advances to mount.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Woodward is bucking up trying to escape but Wreaker cracks him with another couple of good strikes.

Wreaker controlling from the full mount.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Wreaker throwing sloppy strikes here. Perhaps if he tightened up his striking from such a dominant position, he'd be able to finish easier.
Woodward is working to get back to half guard.
Wreaker seems to be looking to move to his opponent's back but Woodward is holding on tight.

Wreaker has hold of Woodward's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Woodward manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
Wreaker has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Wreaker jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Woodward manages to avoid the submission attempt.
Oh Woodward is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!

Wreaker looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.
Wreaker scores with a big shot from side control... and another... and another! Oh Woodward is done here - save him referee! More strikes land and eventually the ref does step in and Wreaker can finally stop beating on his defenseless opponent!
