Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 15 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Juha Koistinen!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 12 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Kylla Ei!
The judges for this bout are Matti Vanhoillinen, Marco Blurström and Arvi Lind.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ei lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Koistinen circles away quickly and effectively.
Koistinen lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.

Koistinen has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Ei is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Koistinen.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

BOOM! Ei connects with a massive shot to the dome!
Ei throwing sloppy strikes here. Perhaps if he tightened up his striking from such a dominant position, he'd be able to finish easier.

Koistinen isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Ei stacks Koistinen on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Ei!

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

Koistinen has his foot on Ei's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Ei works his way back into a safe position though.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Koistinen is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Juha Koistinen.
Well Ei has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
