Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Dorsey Valencia (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Cho Yugara (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Cho Yugara is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Yugara closes the distance and clinches.

Yugara manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Valencia wants to control from the top but Yugara keeps moving.
Valencia is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.

Yugara escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Valencia gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Yugara not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Valencia has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Yugara is proving hard to escape from.

Yugara pulls Valencia in close to prevent any damage.
Let's hope that Yugara has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
Yugara can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Valencia controls the pace.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.

Yugara shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Valencia manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
Valencia looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but Yugara puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard.

Yugara is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Valencia defends it well.
Yugara is trying to get back to his feet now but his leg is trapped.

Valencia wants to improve his position but Yugara is controlling well.
Yugara is figuring out what he wants to do next.
Valencia is looking to get full guard. It looks like he might be successful but at the last minute Yugara jumps into side control!

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Yugara is on top in guard.

Yugara lands a head kick. Valencia smiles back at him and beckons him forward.

It looks like Dorsey Valencia has been cut.

Yugara gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.
Yugara tries to break the clinch but Valencia is controlling the position.

Valencia pulls guard effortlessly.

Valencia throws his legs up looking for a submission but Yugara uses it to pass to side control.
