The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Choliman has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.

It looks like Mako Choliman has been cut.
Longbow tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Choliman paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Longbow closes the distance and clinches.
Longbow lands a left hand.
Choliman's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!
A right hook to the body lands for Longbow.

Choliman decides to pull guard.

Longbow is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Choliman circles away from the clinch attempt.

Longbow moves into the clinch.
Longbow lands a shot to the body.
Longbow gets through Choliman's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.
Longbow gets underhooks to prevent Choliman's takedown attempt.
Longbow lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.

Choliman turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Choliman manages to end up in side control.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.
Longbow tests Choliman's chin there with a solid looking shot.

Longbow throws a leg kick which misses Choliman's front leg but catches the back leg as Choliman tries to avoid it.
A thudding body kick lands there by Longbow!
Choliman takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Longbow moves in looking to clinch but Choliman pushes him off.
Longbow jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.
Longbow bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Choliman's head.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Longbow throws a good cross that connects.
Longbow wants to clinch up but Choliman keeps it at a distance.
Choliman drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Longbow defends it well.

Longbow moves into the clinch.
Choliman tries to pull guard but Longbow won't allow it.
Longbow throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Cholimans head.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.

Longbow tries to close the distance and clinch up but Choliman swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Longbow is looking to take this fight into the clinch.

Choliman takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Longbow circles to his right before unloading a perfect head kick! Choliman drops to the canvas, hurt badly! Longbow follows Choliman to the ground and unloads with a series of strikes that force the referee to step in and end the fight! This one is all over!
