Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Berry Bray (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lou Zombie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lou Zombie has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Berry Bray's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Bray clinches up against the cage.
Zombie has had enough of the clinch but Bray keeps him there for the moment.
Bray wants to stall.

Bray manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back.
Zombie throwing strikes from guard but Bray blocks nicely.
Zombie trying to stand up but can't free himself from Bray's guard.
Bray keeping full guard, as Zombie tries to pass.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Bray wants to sweep but no luck.

Bray pulls Zombie in close to prevent any damage.
Zombie working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
Bray wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.

Bray fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Zombie, pushing him back against the cage.
Bray has Zombie pressed against the cage, preventing Zombie from circling away and getting back to striking at range.
Bray lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.

Bray drags the fight down to the ground.
Bray is pulling down on Zombie's head. It's preventing any offense from Zombie, at least for the moment.
Zombie postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.

Bray is controlling Zombie's posture.
Zombie missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
Bray utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.

Bray had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Zombie defends it easily.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Zombie clobbers Bray with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Zombie walks forward and throws a big overhand right! Bray drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes! Zombie swarms on him with more punches until the referee wrestles him away from Bray's unconscious body! Wow, that was brutal!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:58 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Lou Zombie!
After the fight, Lou Zombie was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
