The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Beast lands with a kick to the ribs.
Shamrock checks the leg kick nicely there.
Shamrock thinks about the counter body kick.
Beast lands with an overhand left.
Shamrock slips a jab from Beast.
It seemed like Shamrock was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
Beast scores with a nice strike.
Shamrock is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Beast.
Shamrock takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Beast throws a leg kick but Shamrock checks it.

Beast tries to move into range but Shamrock moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
Shamrock has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Shamrock throws a jab but it's blocked by Beast.
Beast falls off balance throwing a combination
and Shamrock cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Shamrock misses with a low kick.
Beast misses the jab.
Shamrock throws a looping overhand right but Beast ducks down to avoid it.
Shamrock connects with a crisp jab.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Beast throws a sloppy head kick and Shamrock moves out of range easily.

Beast looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Beast throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Shamrock closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Shamrock throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Shamrock misses with a head kick.
Beast throws a head kick that Shamrock semi-blocks.

Shamrock throws a jab when Beast was well out of range.
Beast throws an overhand right that lands on Shamrock's shoulder, as Shamrock tries to avoid the shot.
Beast throws the kick towards the body but Shamrock avoids it.
Shamrock is looking to score with low kicks.
Beast takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards.
Beast moves out of range of the strikes.
Beast looks to land a left hand but Shamrock moved out of range nicely.
Beast swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Shamrock.
Beast cracks Shamrock with a right hand to the side of the head.
Shamrock is still on wobbly legs! Can Beast finish him?

Beast throws a good cross that connects.
Beast circles and sees the opportunity to plant his feet and throw a really nice straight left hand that drops Shamrock to the canvas! Shamrock doesn't know where he is but he's trying to survive - Beast keeps piling on the pressure and forces the referee to step in! This one is aaaaaall over!
