Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Its Ono (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Evil Muno (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 9 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Its Ono!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 12 - 8 - 0, fighting out of London, Evil Muno!
The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Frank Antenori and Jack Bonds.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ono scores with a nice body kick.
Muno throws a quick inside leg kick.
Muno has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Muno is looking to land body kicks.
Ono shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Muno defends it nicely.
Muno connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
Muno plants his feet and lands a nice head kick!
Muno throws a leg kick that misses.
Ono shoots in for a takedown but Muno shows good takedown defense.
Ono dives in for a single leg takedown but Muno sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.

and Muno counters with a three punch combo that has Ono backing up. Ono nods at Muno to acknowledge the strikes.
Ono shoots in for a takedown but Muno shows good takedown defense.
Ono swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Ono on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Muno. Muno obviously looking to wear him down.

Muno now looks to counter with a shot at the body.
Crunch! Muno slams his shin into Ono's torso.
Good leg kick by Muno there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Ono shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Muno counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Muno checks a leg kick nicely.
Muno pulls out of a head kick attempt.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Ono swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Ono tries to clinch but Muno moves out of range.
Muno lands a head kick!

A head kick lands from Muno that sends Ono to the canvas. Ono tries to scramble back to his feet but Muno brings him back down into side control.


Ono is rocked!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Muno wants to lay and pray for a moment but Ono keeps working.
Oh Ono is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Both fighters have adopted an aggressive gameplan on the ground!
Ono stops Muno from passing to mount.
Ono tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Muno wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
Ono seems to have got his legs back now.
Muno tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it.
Ono sneaks back into half guard.
Muno wants to control but Ono is keeping him busy.
Muno wants to pass to mount but Ono is defending the position.
Ono is looking to improve his position.

Muno is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.

Muno is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Ono defends it well.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Ono clobbers Muno with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Ono chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Muno can pounce on him.
Muno throws a body kick that misses.
Ono feinted with a counter takedown.

Muno gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Ono to score an easy takedown into full guard.
Ono passes easily into side control. Nice work.
Muno is looking for a sweep.
Muno takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.
Muno regains half guard.
Ono seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Ono accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Ono throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Muno works some decent striking defense from the bottom.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.
Muno takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Muno has been the more effective fighter overall so far.

and Muno counters with a right hand to the body.

Ono dives in for a single leg takedown but Muno sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
The crowd cheers as Muno lands an impressive looking overhand right. Ono doesn't seem phased though.
Muno fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.
Muno throws a head kick but Ono moves out of range.
Muno takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Muno is looking to slow Ono down with leg kicks.

Ono closes the distance and pushes Muno back into the cage.
Ono wants a takedown.

Muno breaks from the clinch.

Ono looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.

Muno actively working from the bottom here.

Ono is trying to control the action in half guard but Muno is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
Ono wants to free his trapped foot but Muno is holding on for dear life with his legs.
Muno works his way to full guard. Good work.
Ono might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Ono looking to sit in guard and control but Muno gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

Muno tries to free his leg and advance position but Ono is retaining full guard.

Ono controls Muno momentarily but Muno frees himself.
Ono wants to sweep here but Muno controlling him for the moment.

Muno throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Muno lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.

Ono goes for a double leg but Muno avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Muno continues to drive forward.

Muno bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick.
Muno darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
Ono ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Muno moves away.
Muno just misses with a punch to the body.
Ono feinted with a counter takedown.
A nice leg kick lands there from Ono.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Nice uppercut lands for Muno. That snapped Ono's head back.

A low kick from Ono is predictable there

and Muno counters with a flying knee that drops Ono!

Muno is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Ono is just riding it out for now. Muno eventually gives up the hold.

Ono wants to control but Muno is keeping busy and won't allow it.

Muno is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Ono is surviving well by controlling Muno's body position as best he can.

Ono tries to hold on but Muno pushes him away.
Muno controlling the position easily from mount.
Muno wants to control the action but instead Ono gets a body lock and reverses into Muno's guard! Nice work!
Muno is trying to keep Ono in close.
Muno lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.

Muno postures up.
Ono is pulling down on Muno's head. It's preventing any offense from Muno, at least for the moment.
Muno wants to control from the top but Ono keeps moving.

Ono is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Muno defends well.
Muno advances to half guard.
Muno is controlling the pace.

And that's the end of the fight!
Evil Muno comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I think Muno has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

After the fight, Evil Muno was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
