The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Storm missing with a left hand there. Cox was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Cox has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Storm finds it's way round the side to connect with Cox's head.
Storm thows a left - swing and a miss!
Nice defenses there by Cox.
Cox connects with a solid leg kick.
Storm throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Cox scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.

It looks like Fred Storm has been cut.
A jab from Storm does it's job there.
Cox scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Storm doesn't seem bothered though.
Cox lands a kick to the ribs of his opponent. Nice work there - in and out in a flash.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Cox has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
A combination from Storm does no damage.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
The fighters circle, before Cox throws a beautiful high kick that crashes into Storm's neck, sending him stumbling to the floor! Cox lands more strikes and forces a referee stoppage! That one ended in an instant!
