Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Terry Torres (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Harold Boone (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Torres comes to the cage accompanied by Heisenberg. Harold Boone has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Torres fails to land the takedown.
Boone misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Boone tries to land a leg kick but Torres saw it coming and moves away.
Boone looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Boone digs a good body shot into Torres's ribs.

Torres tries to keep at a distance but Boone has taken the fight into the clinch.

Boone lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Torres circles away quickly and effectively.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Boone just misses with a punch to the body.

Torres fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Boone to the ground. Torres is now in Boone's guard.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Torres rushes Boone and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.

Boone fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Torres on the side of the head.

and Torres counters with a three punch combo that has Boone backing up. Boone nods at Torres to acknowledge the strikes.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Terry Torres will probably get the nod.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Boone lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Torres circles away quickly and effectively.
Torres shoots in looking for a takedown. Boone tries to sprawl out of it but Torres keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Boone manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Boone throws a hook but Torres blocks it.

Boone jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Torres walks away with a smile on his face. Boone gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

I was talking to Torres's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight.

Boone shoots in looking for a takedown but Torres manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Boone's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

A nice side step and Boone releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home.
