The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rackham closes the distance looking to clinch
and Ondrus counters with a lovely shot to the body.
Rackham tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Ondrus manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Rackham swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Rackham takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Rackham throws a lazy head kick
and Ondrus counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Rackham bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Ondrus's head.
Rackham throws a series of punches but Ondrus avoids them all with ease.
It seemed like Ondrus was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Ondrus stuns Rackham with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Rackham is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.

Ondrus thuds his right hand into Rackham's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.

and Ondrus counters with a nice low kick that buckles Rackham's knee momentarily.
Rackham throws out a loose jab but Ondrus uses good head movement to avoid it.

Rackham throws a right and a left that both miss.
Ondrus follows through with a counter body kick but it doesn't land.

A bone on bone clash there as Ondrus blocks the leg kick.

Jack Rackham seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

and Ondrus counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

That was a close round but I would say that Jack Rackham will probably get the nod.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Rackham throws a hook but Ondrus avoids it easily.

Rackham rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Ondrus moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

so Ondrus counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
Ondrus slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.

Ondrus's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Rackham connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Ondrus scrambles back to his feet.

Ondrus on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.

Rackham drops Ondrus with a straight right hand, right on the button! Rackham follows him down to the mat and pounds him out with hammerfists until the referee jumps in to end the fight!
