Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jonas Atentokumpis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Doutor Mundo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Doutor Mundo has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Jonas Atentokumpis's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Doutor Mundo!
The judges for this bout are Dirk Anderson, Bart Greer and Michael Johnstone.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Atentokumpis closes the distance and clinches.
Mundo is trying to break free.
Atentokumpis wants to take the fight to the mat but Mundo manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.

Atentokumpis jumps into guard, dragging Mundo to the mat.
Atentokumpis bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Mundo's guard.

Atentokumpis stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Mundo swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Mundo wants to get back to his feet but he's too absorbed in his own little project and Atentokumpis manages to pass to side control.
Atentokumpis stalling.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Atentokumpis working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.
Atentokumpis content to control rather than advance.
Ground and pound from Atentokumpis.
Atentokumpis performing his best blanket impression for a moment.
Mundo really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Atentokumpis. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Mundo wants to get back to his feet.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
The referee calls for the fighters to work.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Atentokumpis shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Mundo pinned against the cage. Mundo gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Atentokumpis manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Mundo on his heels. He'll look to pass Mundo's guard now, I'm sure.

Atentokumpis passes Mundo's left leg - he's now in half guard.

Atentokumpis wants to work for an arm triangle but Mundo is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Atentokumpis content to control rather than advance.
Atentokumpis passes to side control.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Atentokumpis just content to control the position.
Atentokumpis advances nicely into full mount.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Atentokumpis postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Mundo looks a forlorn figure.

Atentokumpis quickly switches position and commits to an armbar! It's a big risk for Atentokumpis but it's paid off an Mundo is forced to tap! Nice work by Atentokumpis.
