Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Hal Little (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and David Leek Jr (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Hal Little!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, David Leek Jr!
The judges for this bout are Sam Margolis, William Gold and Richard Clark.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Leek Jr shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Little is trying to defend but Leek Jr finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
Little misses with some strikes from the bottom.

Leek Jr is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Little is just riding it out for now. Leek Jr eventually gives up the hold.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Little tries to get to full guard but Leek Jr has control of the leg.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Little is trying to control but can't.
Little missing with punches from the bottom.
Little could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Little is staying active underneath Leek Jr, who seems content to just control the action from this position.

Leek Jr avoids the attempt from Little to control.

Leek Jr has control of Little's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Little regains control of the situation pretty easily.
Leek Jr thowing strikes but they're hitting the gloves, not doing any damage.
Little regains half guard.
Little won't allow Leek Jr to pass to mount.
Little might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Little trying to hold on to Leek Jr's head to control him but Leek Jr postures up.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Leek Jr wants to pass the guard but Little is defending well.
Little keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.
Little wants to get back to his feet.

Leek Jr is trying to work for a kimura but Little is defending well.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Little throws a strike from the bottom that misses.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.

Leek Jr forces Little back against the cage and clinches.
Little avoiding damage.
Little just leaning against Leek Jr, taking a breather.

Little's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Leek Jr gets the takedown into side control.
Leek Jr working the ground and pound but he's contacting the mat, not the fighter.
Little tries to control but end up mounted... ooooh, that's bad.
Leek Jr controlling from the full mount.
Little tries to hold on but Leek Jr postures up.

Leek Jr wants to control the pace but Little is squirming around nicely.

Leek Jr goes for an armbar but Little turns quickly into his guard - lovely anticipation from Little.
Little throwing strikes from guard but Leek Jr blocks nicely.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Little is working Leek Jr over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

David Leek Jr dominated that round.
That's time! Little's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.


Little shoots in for a takedown but Leek Jr shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

Leek Jr bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Little manages to get one leg in to regain half guard.
Little has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Leek Jr is working away from the top position though.
Little is staying active underneath Leek Jr, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
Little moves into full guard.
Little is pulling down on Leek Jr's head. It's preventing any offense from Leek Jr, at least for the moment.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Leek Jr gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.
Leek Jr has been the more effective fighter overall so far.

Little clinches.
Little jumps guard but Leek Jr turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.
Little is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Leek Jr is keeping busy.
Little tries for a takedown. No joy.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Hal Little. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Little manages to break the clinch.
Leek Jr lunges at Little with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Little's hand.


It looks like Hal Little has been cut.
Little doesn't manage to clinch there - Leek Jr circles away.
Leek Jr wants to clinch.

Leek Jr scores with a jab to the body.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Little fails in his attempt to clinch.
Little fails miserably with a takedown attempt.

Leek Jr darts in and clinches Little up against the cage.

Little gets a nice trip takedown into half guard.

Leek Jr manages to escape and get back to his feet!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Leek Jr throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Little tries to close the distance and clinch up but Leek Jr swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Leek Jr with the counter takedown but Little avoids it easily.
Little on the wrong end of a nice hook.
The fighters circle momentarily. Leek Jr darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Leek Jr pulls out of a head kick attempt.

Leek Jr manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Little on his heels. He'll look to pass Little's guard now, I'm sure.
Little controls Leek Jr momentarily but Leek Jr frees himself.
David Leek Jr has got the better of the ground game so far.
Little avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
Leek Jr is working Little over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.
Leek Jr advances position into side control!

Leek Jr tries to score with some ground and pound. Little controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage.
Leek Jr in side control, trying to ground and pound but not landing this time.
Leek Jr in side control, throwing shots but Little defends.
Little tries to strike but it doesn't land.

Leek Jr has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.

Leek Jr gets a double leg takedown into Little's guard.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Little wants to sweep here but Leek Jr controlling him for the moment.
Leek Jr seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

David Leek Jr showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The cut man is working on Hal Little's cut.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!



Leek Jr drives through with a takedown into Little's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.

Little had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Leek Jr defends it easily.

Little throws a couple of weedy looking strikes off his back.

The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
Leek Jr is looking to pass into half guard but Little pushes him away with his feet and jumps on top - now Little is in guard.

Little thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Leek Jr's head.
Leek Jr pushes Little off but Little dives into side control.
Little throwing shots but missing, from side control.
Leek Jr tries to get back to half guard but can't.

Leek Jr gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard.
Leek Jr is looking to control Little's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Leek Jr avoid being mounted?
The step up in weight doesn't seem to be a problem for Leek Jr. He's performing admirably here against the bigger man.
Little not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.
Leek Jr wants to get back to full guard but Little has mounted him!
Leek Jr is working to get back to half guard.
Leek Jr wants to control but Little is having none of it.

Little lands a nice shot to the head.
Little looking to finish Leek Jr with some ground and pound. This is bad for Leek Jr!
A nice elbow there by Little.
Leek Jr wants to control but Little is having none of it.
Leek Jr is in all sorts of trouble here.
Leek Jr takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
Leek Jr throwing punches from his back but nothing is landing.

Little lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.
Leek Jr tries to reverse the position but Little maintains control.
Little with a couple of short strikes.
Leek Jr tries to hold on but Little postures up.
The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Little cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Little pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Little scores with a couple of good head shots there.

And that's the end of the fight!
Hal Little showed his dominance in that final round.
Well Leek Jr has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
