Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jiu Jitsu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Oscar Knockout (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Oscar Knockout will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 7 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Jiu Jitsu!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 13 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Oscar Knockout!
The judges for this bout are Shigeki Fujiwara, Yukihiro Shimada and Shirou Masuda.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Knockout tries to bum rush Jitsu with a series of wild strikes but Jitsu uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Knockout connects with the punch.


It looks like Jiu Jitsu has been cut.
Knockout scores with a one two! Jitsu had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Jitsu.
Jitsu shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Knockout pinned against the cage. Knockout gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Jitsu shoots for a takedown but Knockout saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

Jitsu looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Jitsu's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Knockout connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Jitsu scrambles back to his feet.

Knockout throws a nice looking combination but Jitsu bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Knockout slaps away a takedown attempt from Jitsu, before circling back to the center of the mat.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Knockout! But no joy.
Oscar Knockout seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Jitsu walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.

Knockout looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.

Jitsu gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Jitsu jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Knockout walks away with a smile on his face. Jitsu gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Knockout drops Jitsu with a beautiful combination! Jitsu stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Knockout is looking for the KO!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Knockout connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.
Knockout throws the left hand but Jitsu avoids the punch easily.
Jitsu drops down looking for a counter takedown but Knockout sprawls and moves away.
Jitsu moves to clinch but Knockout breaks away
and Knockout counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Knockout is using his reach advantage to land shots from outside his opponent's range.
Knockout pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Jitsu back to the cage. Knockout follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.
Jitsu with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Knockout to score with a decent uppercut.
Knockout throws the left hand but Jitsu avoids the punch easily.
Jitsu drops down looking for a counter takedown but Knockout sprawls and moves away.

Jitsu is looking to clinch but Knockout is avoiding it.

Jitsu shoots for a double leg takedown but Knockout sprawls well. He's pushed Jitsu's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Knockout looks to land a combination but Jitsu avoids it well.
Jitsu wants to take advantage of his opponent's missed offense by moving into the clinch.
Knockout loads up on a big right hand but Jitsu slips the punch.

Jitsu rushes Knockout and presses him up against the cage.
Jitsu using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Knockout has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.
Jitsu lands a knee to the head there! That was nasty!

Knockout pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Horrible takedown attempt by Jitsu or perhaps it was just good defense by Knockout, which made it look bad.

This has been an exciting period of action!

Jitsu wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Knockout, who protects the arm well.

Knockout explodes and escapes back to his feet! Nice escape there!
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Knockout throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Knockout rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Jitsu moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Jitsu's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Knockout connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Jitsu scrambles back to his feet.

Jitsu dives in and grabs Knockout's left leg, looking for a takedown. Knockout pushes down on Jitsu's head and hops out.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Knockout might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.

Knockout is scooting his butt against the cage and has managed to get back to his feet. Jitsu presses him back against the cage, presumably looking to take the fight back to the mat.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Knockout is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Jitsu.
Knockout will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
