Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Djeko Furoni (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Fernando Paradeda (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Paradeda has chosen Vale Tudo as his entrance music. The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Paradeda scores with the left hand. Furoni knows he should have avoided that one.
Furoni will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Paradeda throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Paradeda displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Furoni.
Paradeda lands a right hook to the body.
Paradeda rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Furoni moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Paradeda lands a nice shot that snaps Furoni's head back.
Furoni drops his hands momentarily and Paradeda takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
A punch lands to the side of Furoni 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Paradeda bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

We've been hearing reports that Furoni has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.

Furoni closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Paradeda did well to prevent Furoni getting side control.
Paradeda tries to get to full guard but Furoni has control of the leg.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Furoni seems like he's working for an arm triangle here. He's freed his trapped foot and he's rotating nicely. Paradeda is in big trouble! He's tapping out! This one is aaaaaaaaaaaall over!
