Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Akeen Coker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Liam Davidson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Davidson has chosen Pinned Down as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Akeen Coker!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Liam Davidson!
The judges for this bout are Paul Gruel, Josh West and Ryoma Takatsuka.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Davidson checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time.

Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Coker, as that shot connected.
Coker looks for the body kick but Davidson saw that one coming.
Davidson moves out of range of the leg kick from Coker.
Coker fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Davidson manages to avoid it.
Davidson lands a jab to Coker's midsection.
Davidson throws a lazy uppercut
and Coker counters with a three punch combo that has Davidson backing up. Davidson nods at Coker to acknowledge the strikes.
Davidson dives in for a single leg takedown but Coker sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
Coker appeared to be looking to counter that last move with a leg kick.
Davidson shoots in for a double leg but Coker sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Davidson throws a body shot but no joy.

Davidson drops back, looking for a kneebar! Coker looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Coker looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Coker!

Akeen Coker decided to thank the fans in attendance for making a great atmosphere. It seemed to go down pretty well.
In defeat, Liam Davidson stepped up to the mic, saying 'With all that shit talking he did at the weigh in I couldnt get my mind off the brown goo covering his teeth! Next time I'll just knock em down his throat! Problem solved.'.
