And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Mijain Lopez!
The judges for this bout are Richard Clark, Steven Brown and Colin Fotheringham.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

James has Lopez up against the ropes in a clinch.

James goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
James lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
James thows a body kick. Lopez tries to catch it but that hurt him.
James goes for a high kick. It partially lands.

James fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Lopez, pushing him back against the ropes.

Peter James is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Lopez is on the wrong end of a nice combination from James.
James moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
Lopez has tried to improve his agility in the runup to this fight.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

James fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Lopez, pushing him back against the ropes.

Lopez walks into a stiff left hand from James.

A nice inside leg kick there by James. That's going to slow Lopez down.

James rushes Lopez and pushes him back against the ropes in a clinch.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
