Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Antonio Santos (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Big Dipper (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Antonio Santos has a significant reach advantage - let's see if he can make it count.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 7 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Antonio Santos!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Big Dipper!
The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Cecil Peabody and Stewart Dunkirk.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Santos has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
Santos tries to score a power double leg takedown but Dipper sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Santos somewhat.
Santos moves out of range of the leg kick from Dipper.
Santos looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Antonio Santos seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Dipper shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Santos as he avoids it easily.

Dipper moves into the clinch successfully.
Santos is trying to break the clinch but Dipper has him pressed against the cage.
Santos has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Dipper avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Antonio Santos. That's going to take a lot out of him.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Santos tries to circle away but Dipper has him pinned against the cage.
Dipper goes for a takedown attempt but Santos pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.

Dipper can't keep his opponent in guard - Santos advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.

Santos is trying to work for a kimura but Dipper is defending well.

Santos is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

Santos will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Santos is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

Santos wants to control from the top but Dipper keeps moving.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.
Dipper throws a one two combo.
Dipper tries to clinch up.

Santos shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Dipper napping and manages to drive through into side control!
Santos has knee on belly and now moves to full mount! Trouble for Dipper!
Dipper keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Dipper looking to escape from mount but he's given up his back!
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Antonio Santos will probably get the nod.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!


Santos will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Dipper.

Santos closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Santos wants to take a breather but Dipper is having none of it.
Dipper scrambles, trying to get to his feet, but Santos manages to mount him!
Santos seems to be looking to move to his opponent's back but Dipper is holding on tight.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Santos wants to control the pace but Dipper is squirming around nicely.
Santos is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Dipper can do to turn this around?
Dipper sneaks a leg under to get to half guard.

Dipper is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Dipper wants to get back to his feet.

Santos seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Dipper does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.
Santos keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Santos fails to land the takedown.
Dipper tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Santos defends well and Dipper ends up having to push Santos into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
Santos half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range.
Antonio Santos has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Big Dipper.
Dipper cracks Santos with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
Santos changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Dipper tries to avoid it but Santos manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Dipper to the ground. Dipper escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Dipper closes the distance and clinches.
Dipper tries to pull guard but Santos holds him up against the cage and eventually Dipper drops back down to his feet.

Dipper breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Dipper displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Santos.
Santos shoots for a double leg takedown but Dipper sprawls well. He's pushed Santos's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Dipper darts in looking for a takedown but Santos gets double underhooks and turns Dipper into the cage.
Dipper shoots in looking for a takedown but Santos manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Dipper's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Dipper is breathing heavily.
Santos shoots in looking for a takedown. Dipper tries to sprawl out of it but Santos keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Dipper manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Santos shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Dipper sprawls well. Dipper wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Santos gets slowly back to his feet.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close second round but I would say that Antonio Santos will probably get the nod.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. This is the final round!

Dipper is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.

Santos in side control, working for a kimura. He's got hold of an arm and he's torquing it... Dipper is tapping! That's the end of the fight!
