Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bob Ronman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Anand Pawar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ronman comes to the cage accompanied by It's A Fight. Bob Ronman has a significant reach advantage - let's see if he can make it count.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Bob Ronman!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Anand Pawar!
The judges for this bout are Shirou Masuda, Shigeki Sano and Yukihiro Yamamoto.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ronman keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.

Ronman looking for a takedown here - he's got it.
We've been hearing that Ronman has been drilling a lot of ground and pound in training, so let's see if he get the finish.
Pawar looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it.
Ronman throws a strike but Pawar rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

Pawar wants to pass the guard but Ronman is keeping the position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Pawar is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.

A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Ronman holds on and takes a little breather.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Pawar tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Ronman paws at him with a jab and circles away.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Pawar is defended easily by Ronman.

Pawar shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
Ronman will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Pawar wants to stand but Ronman is controlling his posture from full guard.

Pawar would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Pawar goes for a double leg but Ronman avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Ronman continues to drive forward.
Pawar dives in and grabs Ronman's left leg, looking for a takedown. Ronman pushes down on Pawar's head and hops out.
Ronman fires out a quick counter leg kick but Pawar just manages to avoid it.
Bob Ronman has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Anand Pawar.

We're hearing some news coming in from back stage. It's official - Pawar has eaten all the pies!

Ronman stuffs the takedown attempt from Pawar. Pawar gets slowly back to his feet.

Pawar tries to sprawl but Ronman drives through with a takedown into half guard.
Pawar is looking to control Ronman's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Pawar avoid being mounted?
Pawar is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Pawar tries to kick Ronman off but Ronman keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.

Pawar wants to improve his position but Ronman is controlling well.

Ronman throws an elbow that misses. Pawar uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Ronman's guard. Nice move by Pawar!

Ronman bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Pawar's guard.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.

Bob Ronman dominated that second round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

Ronman keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Pawar's head.

Ronman got a little sloppy there for a moment and Pawar has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Ronman has managed to get both his arms back between Pawar's legs - danger averted.

Ronman is pulling down on Pawar's head. It's preventing any offense from Pawar, at least for the moment.

Ronman manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Pawar manages to get himself to full guard.

Pawar lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.

Ronman seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.
Ronman has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
