The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lei is looking to clinch but Khalidovv is avoiding it.
Lei looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!

Lei has Khalidovv up against the cage in a clinch.

Khalidovv has hold of one of Lei's legs. Lei is fighting the takedown attempt but Khalidovv gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard.
Khalidovv trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.

Khalidovv tries to free his leg and advance position but Lei is retaining full guard.
Khalidovv pushes down on Lei's leg and manages to get into half guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Khalidovv wants to take a breather but Lei is having none of it.

Khalidovv uses his free foot to push down on Lei's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Lei.

Khalidovv is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Lei can't stay in a position like this for much longer.

Khalidovv working from mount. He moves in close and looks like he might be going for an arm triangle... He's hopped off to the side and he's transitioned into an Anaconda choke. Lei turning a nasty shade of purple. He's refusing to tap but he's gone! He's out! The ref rips Khalidovv off and cradles Lei's limp body as Khalidovv celebrates with his corner.
