The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ellison dodges the punch combination from Fair.

Ellison bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Ellison looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.

Ellison decides to stand back up.
Dwayne Fair seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Fair misses with a wild combination.

Fair falls off balance throwing a combination
and Ellison counters with a two punch combo.

Ellison changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Fair looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Fair takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.

Ellison is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. Fair is trying to escape and Ellison transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Fair is forced to tap! Nice work there by Ellison! Very nice indeed!
